Home improvement: Sofa

Comfort or style?

Well-chosen furniture can make an average house look great. Homeowners often struggle with the choice of sofa for the living room. Comfort or style should be the decisive factor? Or price will dictate everything. If that’s your dilemma, look at some idea presented by the British publication Independent. You don’t have to be a snob in order to choose a sofa that is modern, elegant, comfy and not that expensive after all…

Isabella
Marks & Spencer’s Isabella sofa has a deep fixed-spring seat, button detailing, and retro-look wooden legs. Comes with two cushions. Price: £799, marksandspencer.com

Hella Jongerius Small Polder
This sofa may cost the earth but it certainly scores highly in the style stakes with its low-slung, boxy good looks and lush colour. Price: £4,330, aram.co.uk

Chesterfield
Get the gentleman’s club look in your lounge with a classic Chesterfield sofa. This one is made of aged leather and has injection-moulded foam seats for extra squidginess. Price: £719, sofasofa.co.uk

Carlino Left Corner
You’ll be able to fit all the family on the vast Carlino corner sofa, which features a chaise longue and sofa put together, and is available in a series of fabric or leather finishes. Price: £832, argos.co.uk

I am quite sure; you don’t have to go to UK to buy a sofa for your home. If some of the styles appeal to you, there is a good chance to find something similar in North America.

My daughter really loves his black leather sofa bed. It is very soft and does not sleep that bad either. He genuinely really loves the pull down drink holder! It is really neat! I was not sure about buying pieces of furniture on the net, I love to see the item in person, however, went ahead and decided to buy. Thanks for the tips.
