Prices are coming down
There is a shift in the housing market in Barrhaven – nothing dramatic, but noticeable. The one observation we must make is that the number of detached homes on the market seems to be constant, while listings of townhouses has gone up almost 45% since the middle of March.
Single family homes stay longer on the market – there are still 11 homes listed in February and not sold. Yes, some vendors reduce the asking price, but others don’t budge waiting for the right buyer.
The most popular 3-bedroom home is currently for sale on average about 2.5%-5% less than a month ago.
